This OPT was released (as version 1) on 1st August 1999; this is a re-release with my old address removed from the readme.

This is a quick hack based on X-Wing Alliance's Y-Wing and TIE Fighter models.

This mod comes with NO WARRANTY, express or implied, including any implied warranty of "fitness for purpose".

Comments: "Uglies" or "chop-jobs" are hybrid starfighters built from whatever spare parts their manufacturer can find. The TYE-Wing is one of the worst Uglies around, built from a TIE cockpit and a pair of Y-W engine pods. It has no shields, handles like a brick and is often called a DIE-Wing.

Some textures become blurred when hardware mipmapping is disabled, or in the Craft Database

May produce unexpected results if placed in a craft slot with a different number of weapons hardpoints, or in one of the slots with an exterior OPT (X-, Y-, A- and B-Wing, Z-95, YT-1300, YT-2000, Falcon).
